The ABC's of Training
A - All things begin at ground level
B - Build trust and confidence between horse and rider
C - Commitment and consistency |
- Are you having training difficulties?
- Do you need to get your horse started under saddle?
- Would you like to do the training on your horse?
|
Bay Blue Farm will train you to train your horse. We encourage an owner to take
part in as much of the training process as possible. We feel it is important in order
to allow the horse and owner to bond and build a trust that will last a lifetime.

"Since purchasing "Quinn" as a weanling seven years ago I have learned what it means to be a true horsewoman and all the responsibilities that go with that term."

 | "4 years ago I moved to Arizona and brought along my 2 horses and a mini, one of which was my yearling filly "Ditto". I had never trained a horse before and didn't even know where to begin. I knew I didn't want to send her away to be trained and I also knew I couldn't/shouldn't do it on my own.
Jennifer and I talked and before I knew it, Jennifer had me training my horse! She has a great understanding of horses and people and she makes learning FUN!
Goals were set and accomplished with a positive ending. Jennifer works with me and Ditto in ways that work well for us as the individuals we are and as the team we were and continue to become. It built self-esteem and confidence for both Ditto and I. I was having so much fun I didn't even realize how far along we were.
It's truly been a great experience for me to know I am doing this, I AM TRAINING my horse and learning so much as I go. The relationship with my horse is important to me and Jennifer took this into consideration and now I have the best equine partner I could ever want! My Ditto!"
