Horse Care 101
The foundation clinic covers such topics as:
Anatomy, Breeds, Safety, Nutrition, Vaccinating and Deworming, First Aid, Dental Care Beginning Horse handling and more.

Horse Care 103
Topics covered:
Tack fitting, Training Equipment Usage, Choosing the Right Horse, Trainer and Boarding Stable, should I Insure my horse, why or why not?, Showmanship, Lunging, and more.


Horse Care 103
Topics covered:
Teaching a Horse How to Lunge, Beginning Ground Driving, In-hand Trail, Choosing a Discipline, Barn Etiquette, Arena Etiquette, Trailering, Bandaging, and more!

Fee: $175.00 per camp
Ages: 6-12 year olds
Discounts: $25.00 off if you register and pay in full before May 15th.
                   SAVE an additional 10% by signing up for 2 or more camps.
                   SAVE 10% on riding lessons if you register and pay at a camp.
Attire: All campers are required to wear long pants and boots with 1/2" heel while riding. NO EXCEPTIONS. ASTM certified approved Riding helmets will be provided or you may bring your own helmet.

Snacks: Please bring your favorite snacks and drinks for break time. Water is available at all times.

Children
Summer Camps are held in June and July. For boys and girls age 6-12 years.

Adults
Adult Camps are held throughout the year including summer.

If so, you may request camp dates.
Most camps run 3-5 days

Like our Year-Round Horsemanship program, our camps are taught by an ARIA certified riding instructor.

For more then 12 years Bay Blue Farm has hosted many campers of all ages, from Arizona and even as far away as Pennsylvania, Virginia, and California!

This introductory program is an excellent way to explore the world of horses and get a feel for what it's like to care for these magnificent creatures while increasing you or your child's knowledge and confidence.
